Curry me, Osaka

Osaka - Nestled in the small streets north of Osaka Station, Curry House Ketsu is a curry house serving simple curries to its varied customers. Patronized by businessmen and laborers alike, this small establishment feels like a favorite for those in need a bit of the curry hit.

I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry Rice for about 500 yen and was not disappointed with what I got. A simple well-balanced sauce was a great combination with the crispy chicken and refreshing pickles. You can tell that the recipe of the dish has not changed for years, and while it is not anything special, it is damn good curry for 500 yen.
